Responsibility for employees & society
Behind unmistakeable MAM baby articles there are unique MAM people, global networks and an active approach to diversity. Making the lives of children and parents easier is not just the aim of the MAM products, but also the motto extending across the funding of research and promoting the spread of knowledge as well as the social commitment of the company.
Since the company was founded in 1976, collaboration with the worlds of science and research has been a firm fixture at MAM. Thanks to this network of experts, it has been possible to regularly identify key issues when it comes to the health of babies and address them in the work that MAM does.
But MAM does not just share knowledge at the expert level; the company also supports children's and parents' support organisations all over the world, for example the children's cancer support organisation or hospitals in emerging and developing countries.

"Prevention before care" preventative project
Infant tooth decay affects the teeth just a short time after they come through and can result in complete destruction of the set of teeth. The forward-looking preventative project by the University Hospital of Jena has set itself the aim of preventing this form of tooth decay.
Since May 2012, MAM has taken charge of the patronage and funding for the project for the next two years.

SIDS initiative
MAM is committed globally to carrying out research and raising awareness of issues surrounding the health of babies. The company works not only with its network of experts from the worlds of science and medicine, but also in direct partnership with well-known organisations.
One example is MAM's support for the international group of researchers working on reducing the risk of SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome).
MAM produces responsibly
For MAM, social responsibility with a spirit of entrepreneurship also means having respect for the people who work for MAM – and not just where strict laws and certifications dictate matters. The MAM Thaimed factory in Thailand, for example, has already received high praise for its exceptionally good working conditions.
Moreover, MAM takes steps to ensure the highest safety and quality standards are maintained in production and in the materials it chooses to use. It's no surprise then that MAM plastics are largely free of bisphenol A and are therefore particularly safe for babies.
