Accessibility Statement
MAM is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We aim to continuously improve the accessibility of our website and online services in accordance with the applicable legal frameworks in the European Union, particularly the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882, hereinafter referred to as the “EAA”).
Scope of this Statement
This accessibility statement applies to portions of our website (accessible at www.mambaby.com) that fall within the scope of the EAA and its national implementations across various EU member states. It is designed to inform users about the accessibility of our online services and their compliance with applicable legal and technical requirements.
This statement was prepared on July 11th, 2025.
Overview of our services and measures to support accessibility
MAM operates an online platform that provides various pregnancy and parenting content (e.g. blog articles), as well as e-commerce services enabling customers to browse, select and purchase our premium baby products online.
We strive to comply with the technical standard EN 301 549 v.3.2.1 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA (together referred to as the “Technical Standards”), as the recognized standards for accessibility.
Our website has been designed to be as accessible as possible, with our interface supporting accessibility via:
- Text Descriptions: Clear alternatives for most images and visual elements, as well as written information presented in plain language.
- Text Adjustments: Adjustable text size, zoom and sufficient contrast options for text.
- Browser Compatibility: Fully compatible with Firefox, Chrome, Edge and Safari browsers (mobile and desktop).
- Screen Reader Support: Fully compatible with widely used assistive technologies such as JAWS, NVDA, Narrator and VoiceOver.
- Multimedia Accessibility: Captions or subtitles, audio descriptions and descriptive text accompany videos and multimedia content.
- Keyboard Navigation: All essential features of the website can be accessed and controlled using only a keyboard.
- Logical Navigation: Clear, logical page structures with consistent headings, landmarks and navigation menus.
- Error Alerts: Clear, descriptive error messages displayed that help users understand, correct, and avoid input mistakes.
To enhance accessibility, MAM Baby has integrated into its website AccessiBe, an AI driven accessibility solution tool which enables users to customize visual and functional settings, such as adjusting text size, colours and colour contrast, orientation and keyboard navigation, to better suit an individual’s accessibility needs. The tool also provides profiles specific to a user’s disability, for e.g. seizure safe profile which reduces flashes and colour, or the visually impaired profile which enhances the website’s visuals for easier visibility. The AccessiBe tool has been integrated into all pages of our website and is compatible with keyboard navigation and screen readers.
