A unique network of experts

The key to MAM's success is design. It's unique because it satisfies both the highest stylistic demands that are placed on products and the functional requirements that ensure babies get the best start in life. And the way that MAM develops every single one of its products is also unique: it engages in an international working dialogue spanning different disciplines with designers, medical experts, scientists, technology specialists and parents.

MAM sets standards

The network of expertise spanning the globe and covering all of the relevant disciplines provides the ideal breeding ground for innovative new ideas.

83 technology and design innovations are protected in 61 patents, 273 design patents and 8 utility models, including classic baby articles such as

  • the thin teat neck of the MAM Perfect soother to prevent tooth displacements
  • the shape of the MAM Air – the pacifier which is particularly kind to baby's skin because it allows plenty of air through,
  • the valve at the base of the MAM Anti-Colic bottle which allows babies to drink in a calm and relaxed fashion because they don't swallow any air.

MAM's mission to improve child safety

Products for children are subject to the most stringent quality and safety standards all around the world. MAM anticipated many of these with developments of its own – ultimately only products which have undergone screening in the MAM network of medical and scientific experts ever go into production.
But we also pass on the valuable knowledge we acquire: MAM experts are involved in the international standardisation and regulation processes, and they help to ensure that there's continuous improvement in child safety regulations.
What's more, the company is firmly committed to research and raising awareness to promote good health for babies – for example on behalf of the global group of researchers working to reduce the risk of SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome)
