Based on the great success of our MAM Original soother and its symmetrical, thin and jaw-friendly teat we developed the MAM Air pacifier shield with additional extra big airholes. It allows you to see your baby´s smile while offering a great relief for sensitive skin.

Orthodontic soother teat

Non-nutritive sucking offers comfort to your baby which is why experts advise the use of soother once breastfeeding is established. A specific concern when it comes to soother use revolves around the thickness and hardness of numerous soother teats, which can exert excessive pressure on the teeth and jaw, affecting your baby’s oral development. The MAM Air soother has a symmetrical, thin and jaw-friendly teat small enough to minimize the impact on your baby’s oral development, while still statisfying your baby’s sucking need.

We designed the MAM Air soother air shield with large air holes for an extra airflow on your baby’s skin. The extra airflow offers a great relief for baby’s sensitive skin and allows you to see your baby’s smile at any time.

Our entire range of siliconesoother teats have a unique SkinSoft™ silicone surface, designed to offer a comforting and familiar feeling for your baby. The SkinSoft™ silicone material is exceptionally gentle and tender, mimicking the touch of a mother's skin allowing a smooth transition from breastfeeding to soother usage.

Developed with medical experts

Right from the beginning, MAM products are developed in cooperation with medical experts and research institutes such as ICMRS, pediatrician’s, child development experts, dentists and midwives. Only after approval by medical experts is a MAM innovation ready for baby life.

The MAM Air soother can be easily sterilized in its handy carrier box in a few simple steps. All MAM soother can be disinfected hygienically and quickly in the microwave in an energy-saving process, saving up to 77% of energy and CO².²

The term “climate neutral”

Since January 2025, MAM has deliberately stopped using the term “climate neutral” and the offsetting associated with it. This decision aligns with evolving standards and regulatory requirements, which increasingly demand that climate protection be achieved primarily through genuine, verifiable emissions reductions — rather than through compensation measures.

The production of packaging including the label “climate neutral” was discontinued in January 2025. It is possible that some packaging or product descriptions using the term “climate neutral” are still in circulation.

Up to 2025, MAM consistently used the term “climate neutral” in accordance with the three recognized principles: Calculate – Reduce – Compensate. Emissions were systematically recorded in cooperation with ClimatePartner, assessed within clearly defined system boundaries, and offset through certified climate protection projects.
