Yes. MAM Breast Milk Storage Bags are made from BPA- and BPS-free, food-safe plastic and are pre-sterilised to ensure your milk stays safe and uncontaminated. In addition, the bag’s edges are rounded to prevent scratches on the skin.
No. Regular plastic bags are not sterile, can leak, and may contain unsafe chemicals. Always use bags specifically designed for breast milk.

MAM Breast Milk Storage Bags are made from double-layered polyethylene, free from harmful chemicals and strong enough to withstand freezing.
Open bag by tearing away the safety seal and pulling the zipper apart carefully. Do not touch the inside of the bag and handle it as hygienically as possible until filling it with milk. You can pour breast milk (max. 180 ml) into the bag from a clean container or express directly into the bag, by using MAM Manual Breast Pump or MAM 2in1 Breast Pumps (no adapter needed). Remove air and seal the bag tightly afterward.
Remove air before sealing. MAM Breast Milk Storage Bags have a double zipper seal at the top to prevent leaks and spills. Always press firmly across the seal to ensure it’s fully closed. Do not stand the bag upright on its own until the zipper is sealed.
One MAM Breast Milk Storage Bag holds 180 ml. Do not fill above the 180 ml marking, to prevent leaks or bursting when freezing. Breast milk will expand when frozen.
Let the milk cool to room temperature (25° C or colder) before sealing and placing it in the fridge or freezer.

Yes, they are specifically designed to be freezer-safe. You can freeze breast milk in them for up to 6 months (at -18° C or colder). Lay them flat to save space and ensure even freezing and thawing. Tip: To prevent sticking, separate bags with paper towels until frozen.
MAM Milk Storage Bags are designed with a bottom that allows them to stand when filled, making pouring and handling easier.
Yes, there is a writable label area on top of the bag to note the name, date, time, and volume of milk. Use a ballpoint pen or permanent marker for best results. Avoid using felt tip markers. For easier handling, it is recommended to label the bags before filling (unless pumping directly into the bag).

No. MAM Milk Storage Bags are single-use products only and should be discarded after use to maintain hygiene and safety.
Store the bags in a flat or upright position in the refrigerator (at 4° C for up to 4 days) or freezer (at -18° C or colder for up to 6 months). Choose the coldest part of your refrigerator, do not store milk in the door of the refrigerator. Always label each bag and use the oldest milk first
Thaw frozen breast milk by either placing the sealed bag in the refrigerator overnight; by running it under warm water; by setting it in a container of warm water; or by using a bottle warmer that offers a defrost setting (according to manufacturer’s instructions). Never microwave or boil the bag.
